A local newspaper wants to reward people who have contributed a lot to the community.

Write a letter to the newspaper. In your letter:

         - suggest someone who deserves the reward
   - mention what he/she has done to help the community
   - say what reward you would like to give this person

You should write at least 150 words.

You do NOT need to write your own address.

Begin your letter as follow;

I came to know that you are going to award people from our community who have great contributions to the society and in that case, I have a recommendation.

Mr William is an exemplary person who really deserves the reward. He is a selfless person and has established a school in Colombo. Despite being a foreigner to Sri Lanka, he is devoted to the nation. And from his urge to spread education in his surroundings he established a free school for street urchins. He has done it without the intention of gaining any direct or indirect benefit. He is also respected by the people in his surrounding areas.

So, I think a person like him should get this award. I am placing ally supports in his favour. Hope you would justify my demand, and make some further investigations to confer him the honour you have planned.
