Hope you are doing fine. I am so remorseful that I have broken your headphone that I borrowed to listen to the music last week. I wanted to return the headphone on Tuesday but you did not come to the university that day. I feel so bad now and not sure how to compensate this.

Unfortunately, the headphone cable got cut into two parts and it was an accident. I did not notice that the cable was hanging from my drawer desk and suddenly Eliza came to meet me while she stood by the desk. She leaned on the desk slightly that closed the drawer. The poor cable was cut into pieces as it was hanging from the drawer.

And I am expressing my sincere regrets about this matter. I know it is uncomfortable for you but I want to get you a new set if you allow. You know accidents happen suddenly and it was the same. None of us knew this would happen. So, I will get a similar headphone for you the next day we meet.
