You travelled by a long distance bus recently and your suitcase was damaged.

Write a letter to the bus company. In your letter,

     - inform the bus company of when and to where you travelled.
     - describe your suitcase and what happened to it.
     - explain why the company should pay for a new suitcase.

You do NOT need to write your own address.

You should write at least 150 words.

Model Answer:

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am a regular commuter of the buses your company runs and writing to complain about a damaged suitcase. As the manager of the bus company that runs between Kolkata and Mumbai, I think you should know about the matter.

I travelled to Mumbai last Monday from Kolkata as I frequently commute between these two locations. My suitcase got seriously damaged as it was not properly taken care of by the staff responsible for the luggage. It was a nice brown suitcase that I bought from Australia last month. I asked the luggage-in-charge several times to handle the suitcase properly and when I got the suitcase back, I found it was seriously damaged and unusable. The suitcase handle was broken, its body was torn apart, and the in-charge admitted his mistake.

So, I think this is the responsibility of the company to pay for a new suitcase. In fact, it happened for the unawareness of your staff and I am not to take the liability. Expecting your rapid action on the issue.
