I had been voluntarily involved with the child labour awareness program at your organization, but sadly, now I am unable to continue this work.

I was engaged with the awareness-raising program among the local people here in Mumbai over child labour. However, recently I have applied for a scholarship to a German university and the university has approved that. So, I have to leave for Germany within next two months.

I have so many preliminary tasks to finish before leaving for Germany. Hence, this is impossible for me to continue the task, despite my willingness to be a part of this great work. But I think, a friend of mine can do the job. He is Leon and has enough spare time to do the voluntary job. He is also engaged with some other sociocultural organizations. So, I think, with his presence, you will not feel my absence.

Thereby, I expect your approval to leave the voluntary work and attend the higher education opportunity. Meantime, I have advised my friend, Leon, to contact you and discuss his possible candidacy for the task.
