Letter to friend to translate an important document

IELTS GT Writing Task 1 (Letter Writing) Sample:

You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.

You have received an important document that needs to be translated. Write a letter to your friend and ask him/her to translate this important document for you.

In your letter, explain -

     - Why is it important for you?
     - How fast do you need it back?
     - Why do you need his/her expertise?

You should write at least 150 words.

You do NOT need to write your own address.

Dear Joseph,

Hope you are doing excellent. I am writing for a favour from you. I applied for a course at a German University and they have sent me a letter in the German language.

Since you have completed a course in German and have a good skill in it, it would be helpful for me if you translate the document. In fact, I also wanted to get admitted to the same course but failed to manage time for that. Hence, I am in trouble with the document. This is an important document for me and they might have sent it describing the necessary documents that I need to send them for the admission. I need it within next three days. I believe you are the best person to help me on that.

Expecting your kind support in this case. It would be a great favour to me if you kindly translate the document. I am attaching a xerox copy of it with this letter.
