Model Answer:
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am Samantha Mire, an undergraduate student at the University of Sydney. I am writing you to formally inform about my stolen ID card and seeking advice on what to do to get a fresh one.
I was walking down the street yesterday evening to get back home. I was alone and suddenly a young snatcher took away my purse. The purse contained some cash, my ID card, some personal items and a storybook. My ID card is issued to my name and has a validity until November 2020. I am worried about the ID card.
Could you please tell me what can I do to get a new ID card? Shall I inform it to my university authority to issue me a new one or take any other measures? I seek some suggestions from your end. Please inform me at your earliest.
Waiting eagerly for your kind response.
Yours faithfully,
Samantha Mire
