How are you? I wish the cold is not as drastic as it was last year during this time in Britain. I am writing to invite you to an event that will take place here in Vietnam in a few weeks. This is a public festival and known as ‘Tet Nguyen Dan’ in local dialect which means 'Lunar New Year'.

I know how much you are interested in Vietnamese culture and I believe this will be an excellent opportunity to witness it. The event is locally also known as Tet. This is a type of religious celebration but it allows participation of all people. But the celebrations are not wild. People pass some fascinating times across the country. The firework is a charming activity on the night of the event. Visiting the temples is another interesting pursuit of the day and the temples remain open round the clock. The celebrations become vivid in larger cities and vibrant parties are held.

So, if you arrive Hanoi, I have several plans for me with you. I would like to visit the temples and light some fireworks. I also want to entertain you with the traditional dishes of my country and hang out the whole night.
