You are going away to travel for the summer. A friend will be looking after your house while you are away.

Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:

- say where you are going
- describe your house
- explain some of the things your friend must do to look after your house.

You should write at least 150 words.

You do NOT need to write your own address.

Dear Taylor,

I am very happy to receive your letter and it was great to know that your mom is doing fine. I am sure you two will have more pleasant time together than being a several hundred miles away. You have agreed to look after my house while I will be travelling to the Asian continent and this reminds me once again how you have always been my best friend. I owe you a big one.

My summer vacation includes the tour to a few Asian countries including India, Malaysia, China, Indonesia and Singapore. I will travel with John and I have no one to look after my house. You have been to my house several times and you know it is not a large house. I will hand over the keys to you before I leave and all you need to do is water the garden and feed the cat every day. Make yourself comfortable at the house and take care as you feel it is necessary. Please open the gates only to the known person and always turn off the burner when you are not cooking.

My cell phone will be open and you can reach me anytime.

I am leaving for the Hawaiian Island to spend the entire summer. It is so kind of you that you agreed to look after my house while I am away. Here are few things to consider when you stay at my home.

My apartment number is 6B and you have been to my house last month. There is no security issue to be worried about. The entrance and the exit are quite durable and able to defend unwanted activities. So, no worries about security indeed. But make sure you close the kitchen stoves every time you leave home. In fact, there is a leak in the gas pipeline and it needs to be handled perfectly. Moreover, I have kept some cash in the drawer in my bedroom to pay the cable and the internet bills. Please, pay them if the serviceman arrives. You are free to use the home as if you were yours. I am really glad that you agreed to look after my home and I owe you a big one.
