I am Mason Leon, a resident of the Cantberry district, Juvenile town, writing to express my view against the decision of building a new airport near the town. Recently, I came to know from a local newspaper that a new airport will be constructed near our town. I am deeply sad about the matter and worried about the consequences.

If a new airport is built near the town, we will experience different types of problems. The most important thing is the sound pollution. Arrival and departure of flights will create unnecessary noises in the surrounding areas. Besides, people will have to move to the airport using the main street of the city – that points the city will see a hike in vehicular movement. It will also make the city crowded. The natural peace will disappear.

Therefore, I think the airport should be built in a remote place- away from the residential area. In fact, the authority should reconsider the matter deeply once again before finalizing their decisions. I would request you to publish an editorial to protest the decision.
