Model Answer:
Dear Mr Albeny,
I am John Rhodes, one of your favourite students in New York Preparatory Grammar School, and I had the chance to be blessed with your mentorship in 2007. You would be happy that I have been trying to build my career in aeronautical engineering. I have applied for a job in a local aviation company and they want someone from my school to write me a reference letter.
I want this job so badly as it is my dream job. If I could get the job, a dream of mine would b fulfilled. And my parents also expect to build my career on this track. Thereby, after lots of struggles, I have been able to apply for the job and fortunately, I have been shortlisted. But now I need a reference letter from you. So, I seek a reference from you to get the job and please include some necessary information like how my performance was in school, how long you have known me and a couple of lines on my capacity. It would be a great favour to me. You are the best person from the school to write the reference letter and that's why I am asking you to do me this favour.
Your obedient,
John Rhodes.
