Model Answer:
Dear Sir or Madam,
It is a regret that I am writing this complaint letter to your well-reputed bank. I have a savings account with your bank and had ordered a chequebook two weeks ago. I am yet to receive the chequebook.
I think this is the sign of a poor service to the clients. In fact, a chequebook should not take so long to be delivered, not especially for a large and renowned bank like yours. I was told that I would get the chequebook within five working days. But more than 12 working days have passed and there is no trace my chequebook. I failed to do some transactions due to this. I need to send a check to my landlord and cannot do it until I received the new chequebook from the bank.
Could you please tell me how long I have to wait to the get the chequebook? And what actions you are taking against this delayed service?
Thanks in advance.
Yours sincerely,
Lucy Stephano
