Write a letter to the course lecturer. In the letter,

     - explain why you cannot continue the course
     - describe the situation
     - say what you will be doing

You should write at least 150 words.

You do NOT need to write your own address.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear ......,

Model Answer:

Dear Mr Smith,

I am currently enrolled in an evening management course at the Institute of Management in Berlin, Germany. I am afraid I cannot continue the course due to the excessive work pressure in my office.

Actually, the office is running understaff now and I have to play a couple of roles together with my assigned duties. So, it is hard for me to manage time in the evening as I usually leave office at around 8:00 pm. Even though I am quite passionate about the course, I have no way but to discontinue it.

So, I want to stop my classes for a while. The office authority said that they will recruit shortly and the troubles will be gone. I think I would be able to join the course once my professional issues are resolved.

Hope you would allow me then to attend the course. Expecting a positive response from you soon.

Yours sincerely,

Jim Turner
